Tzimmes
emphasizes the tremendous diversity within Jewish Music.
Singing in four languages - Yiddish (Judeo-German),
Hebrew, Ladino (Judeo-Spanish), and English - the Tzimmes
style ranges from Middle Eastern to Klezmer to Folk
and Worldbeat. They have concertized in Canada, the
U.S., Mexico, and England, at Folk Festivals and Communal
Events, for Jewish and non-Jewish audiences alike.

Speaking
of their 1998 release, KlezMyriad, Dirty Linen had
this
to say: "This latest disc shows off the group's
talents marvelously and earns them an important place
in the growing
ranks of new-generation klezmorim (Jewish Musicians -
ed.) who are preserving, but also extending, Jewish music
into the next century." |
